For every complaint on this issue I’ve heard a corresponding “get real”. A pretty typical interaction has both players frustrated by convoluted rules and other players passionately defending the site that they love.

Both are right.

Add to that the fact, mentioned above, that these loyalty programs are really geared toward the sequential, loyal depositer.
